A cosy spot with attentative service. Honest quality food prepared without frills and very reasonably priced.

PS: The cuttlery is too small for the hands of an average SA male. It is a challenge to cut through sourdough with something you cannot get a propper grip on.

Delicious food, and very energetic chef! We had the trinchado Rump and 500g ribs using entertainer - rump was succulent and perfectly made to order and we're coming back for more of those ribs!

A really impressive experience. The service and staff are truly genuinely kind and sincere. The food was very tasty and plated with flair. I have a son that has Autism and they were so accommodating and made him feel so welcome. I am taking hubby for his bday next week. This has all the potential of being one of those hidden gems.

Cosy venue. Lovely caffeine brew. Waitrons are helpful, friendly u0026 efficient. Even offered throws for the outside area when it got chilly.
Our starters of sliders (mini portions) u0026 chicken livers were delicious u0026 filling. My hubby ordered a surf u0026 turf (4 prawns + steak..pictured) he claims was soft, succulent with a rosemary flavour.

I'm not one to easily complain about food at a restaurant. But the food I had at this place was hands down, the worst I have ever tasted. There is something wrong with your calamari main dish. The sauce was so incredibly overpowering and just tasted downright awful to the point I felt nauseous eating. For the first time, I simply could not finish my food or even get half away. The grilled calamari itself was also not of a appealing texture. It tasted off and had a very odd texture. It is nothing like the grilled calamari you get from Ocean Basket or other chain stores. Overall the taste is where the problem is though. The entire dish just had this horrible taste to it that I cannot even put in words. I was scared of getting ill afterwards.

Lastly, you don't serve margarine with bread at a restaurant. This should not be acceptable by any standard. The bread served with the calamari dish was the only thing I could find reasonably edible (despite being quite stale) but even so, I couldn't believe you'd serve margarine with bread in a restaurant. I had to eat my bread dry but after 2 pieces I had to give up from feeling ill after the taste from the calamari main.

I did give 1 star though for the waitress who was incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive and kind. I didn't want to take my frustration and disgust for the food out on her. That won't be fair. But please fix your food. It was my worst dining experience in my life.
