I arrived with slightly rainy weather on a Friday morning. Not busy (yet I was told). The fire was going obviously getting ready for the usual crown. Very down to earth, pub feel but was an amazing burger. Of the best that I’ve had! I can’t recall the name as I’d asked the waitress to surprise me but wow.

This place always has a good vibe going on. With the smoking section situated outside under the trees, the waiters and food are always great. When live performances, you can still hear yourself think and talk to friends. The bar moves quick, so does the food area. No matter how busy it is, somehow there is always space for people to enjoy themselves.

Need a bar to have a good time drinking? Here you go, Bob is your uncle. Need food before you are drunk? Don't order the pizza, it's AWFUL and in all honesty the pizza oven should be removed for more seating. The baskets and more typical pub style food is good. Friendly staff and a decent 'local atmosphere' vibe. Its hard to not enjoy yourself.

It was a very nice place to hang out and watch the Rugby.

It just has a real Saloon feeling and the outside seating under the tree with the center fireplace is a nice atmosphere.

Amazing food and a variety of drinks to choose from.

This place will be missed

Great place for some tank beer. I like the wooden bar idea. Menu is short to sweet.

I love the atmosphere, the people and the alcohol. We watched a Springboks test here. I would definitely not recommend the pizza. It is literally toppings on a disappointing (I would call it a base) base, not filling at all. We had to get food afterwards again. But I would definitely come again for the "gees" and the drinks.
