I wanted to make this a very special dinner as my daughter visited briefly from overseas. We were a group of 5. What a big disappointment! Food was frozen seafood cold and tasteless, veg was mushy, cocktails a disaster. Ordered malva pudding and was served something that looked like yellow goo which we returned. The vegan in the group had potato chips as they had nothing on the menu. Was promised a call back from the Manager and am still waiting. Don't go there if you're looking for a nice dinner.

What a wonderful experience! We were slightly skeptical when we entered, the Chef, however, really went the extra mile to not only make us comfortable but also in his preparation and explanation of his food. The Fillet is an absolute MUST!

.....Firstly on arriving here we were impressed by the sheer look of this venue from outside and when we got inside it was not different! The place was clean, neat and very simply decorated! Just to mention when we made our reservation and the person we spoke to name-lii Marko wasn't shy to tell us the he was one of the managers here but sad-lii to say he didn't not list us as a guest on the night of our visit! Marko please wake up! We would've been very disappointed if it wasn't for the the very kind waitress on duty who was very accommodating as they were busy! They serve only Vergenoegd wines which we happened to love and happen to know very well from our visits to Vergenoegd Wine Estate! The Starter been a Escargot u0026 Prawn combination in a Thai green sauce was Insidious-lii delicious and Impressive-lii served! The Filet of Mignon was rather small but nice-lii prepared with veg, but the Pork bell-ii was Mmmm'ish-lii good very succulent and scrumptious! Definite-l ii high-lii recommended! For desserts they didn't have the chocolate combo so we were adventures in trying the Fresh fruit "Sabayon" been a fruit salad heated up in white champagne with an egg yoke topping! Different but not the best choice as fruit salad is always good with ice-cream! The square on which the restaurant is located is a concrete pave outplace but rather very quiet and has a love-lii tree filled garden with some metal decorations and when viewed at night is makes for an impressive picture! We liked it here and will sure-lii make a turn here again in the future.................

if you want to have a nice hot, well seasoned plate of food then dont waste your time going to this place. we got there and had to wait 40 minutes whilst our food was waiting on the pass, my boyfriend was not offered cutlery (the table wasnt set well, but i wont go into this), when the starter finally came (prawn and escargot) it lacked salt (such a basic expectation) and it was cold, chewy and just unpleasant. i asked the witer to take it back for me and he never returned (LOL), instead, he brought our overdone steaks that had really nice mushroom on the side but the steak was chewy and (as you may have guessed by now...) LACKED SALT!!!! Anyway, we asked for the manager because we didnt want to have anything to do with the place any longer and we were told he was not around, the chef came to try and persuade us to have our dessert BUT HOW WHEN WE HADN'T HAD STARTERS OR MAINS (SMH). Anyways, the chef told us the manager was unavailable, then he told us the manager had said we should come back for a meal on the house THEN (you wont believe this) HE TOLD US HE WAS IN FACT THE....MANAGER!!! All this happened in a restaurant with 11 people, they were failing to serve ELEVEN PEOPLE!!!! Anyways, long story short, unless you have about 5 hours to kill and a truckload of patience, do not waste your time going to this place. Oh, we were not even offered anything to drink then had to pay for the prawns and snails that we had not eaten even half of (#SIIIIIIIIGH). okay, well, that was my experience. :)
PS: Rated 1 star because i cant post with no stars so...

Breakfast is the start to a good day and the key to a successful day well in my opinion that is

A selection of fruits, cereals, cheeses and cold meats is available to guests. A option of many continental options is available as well such as mushrooms, bacon and a selecroon of sausages to choose from. Waiters are friendly and organised and offer you something to drink almost immediately as you seated.

There are a variety of drink options, whether it be hot or cold it's there for you and dont forget a muffin or croissant too

Value for money and good service from the staff especially Marco who is always one step ahead

The photos of the food online and what is served is two completely different things. It almost felt that I ate frozen packed veggies with every meal. Definitely a major disappointment.
