I'm a full on meat eater. My mom is a vegan. I took her here for mother's Day and she said that it was one of the yummiest things she's eaten in a real long time. I also agree with that. To be honest. The nachos that I had were delicious. I'd highly recommend this place even if you're a meat eater. Also got a nice 50% off for my mom.

I really enjoyed the food here. I got the meatballs which were extremely tasty, but they were a bit small compared to what I’m used to. I got the half gatsby sandwich with vegan chicken and beef, honestly I didn’t know what was what, but it was really good regardless. The half sandwich was hugeee I could only eat half, so even if it’s a bit pricey it’s massive and you’ll get two meals out of it.

Would definitely recommend Lekker Vegan to those craving vegan fast food. The loaded fries were absolutely delicious. However, downsides were that it was definitely on the pricy side and the service was not great, so I wouldnt recommended sitting down for your meal. Some of the items on the menu were not available

Burgers are delicious, personally prefer the 'chicken' options.
Service could really do with some improvement, guy that assisted us seemed to be in another zone , gave off this impression that he was doing a favour by helping us.

A few weeks ago one of my students' proposed that we go vegan for lunch at the office. He was widely rebuked at first but because we are a very democratic group, we decided to go with his option of a Lekker Vegan gatsby. Now, recently, as a group we have tried out quite a few spots and we were very sceptical of a meatless gatsby. However, R200 later per gatsby, the student pitched up with 3 gatsby's. "Beef", "chicken" and "mix" and we digged in. I did not like the chicken one but that is just preference. The chicken just did not taste lekker or like chicken. But, the "Beef" one was cool. Really nice and fresh salad ingredients and the chips was very good. The roll is something different but it was OK. I told my students that I would have loved more sauce and they said they could have asked for more sauce so that should not decrease ratings ????. I gave the gatsby a solid 7.5 out of 10 and would recommend that everyone in CPT try it out to experience it for themselves.

Oh my word! The nachos were so delicious, I came back the next day and ate the same thing! Great selection of beverages. I’m back in my country wishing I had access to this restaurant!

Delicious vegan food with the tastiest meat substitutes. I highly recommend the chocolate brownie and the Swahilili Bunini
