Ordered a avo burger and the bun turns out to be old eventually I call the waitress to explain to her my burger is old the hun is not supposed to be this crispy and hard (I mean everyone knows what a old bun feel/taste like) anyway … the waitress goes, “but we serve it like this to all our clients” and then offers to bring me a different bun instead of taking my “old burger” and freshening it up as it should be, mind you? I’ve only explained the bun the rest of the burger and fries is as just a mess!!
Ps: this isn’t the first time mixers have served me old food sadly, it’s such a nice joint! Hence me coming here for the 2nd time but this time I think it’ll be my last.

I recently joined a biker group who frequently visit on Thursdays we visited Mixa's. The mix of young, old, pensioner and hipster keeps conversation interesting. My favourites on the menu are the nachos and cheese or the Mixa burger.

Great place to let your hair down and you can smoke inside and out, but be patient as the wait for your is about 25 to 40 minutes wait as this is a very popular venue but worth the wait the owner and staff are very friendly. The kitchen and bar are open till 11pm.

My boyfriend ordered Ribs and Chicken wings and when he got home it was burned both wings and ribs. He went back just too inform them about the mistake there apologies was that he had to check the food that is telling me that they always sell burned food that is the quality that they give there customers. My boyfriend was very unhappy with that service and also the answer the waiter gave him.

Absolutely shocked and disgusted to my core by an incident that occurred tonight. One of Mixa's regulars (a man with dark hair and a German accent) literally beat up a homeless man in front of the bar/ restaurant. The waiting staff had to intervene. According to Mixa's staff members this German/Austrian/Swiss man has caused trouble before but the owner has failed to ban him from the pub. The manager went to speak to the man sitting at one of the tables outside. Nevertheless, I was disgusted to see that the manager had allowed the man to continue sitting smugly smoking and chatting with his buddy outside. I mean this guy had literally just beaten up a mentally-ill homeless person and he was allowed to continue drinking his beer and chat like nothing happened. One patron called the police. He taunted her in the process. Cheers to the waiting staff and patrons who intervened, thumbs down to the management that continue to humor an expat which abuses marginalised people.

Moses , has a bit of an attitude and as we have left before due to his behaviour we are yet again being served by him with the worst attitude ever
