The food could have been better. My steak was not really well cooked and I wanted a well done steak. The white meat of the chicken didn't really have taste. My daughter had a cheese pizza for kids which was actually nice. Definitely loved the milkshakes, super thick and tasty. It was super packed so there was a line to get in. The service we received was just okay, I felt like it could've been better but I guess maybe it's because it was busy.

Visited this Spur again today and I just love it your child can play knowing they are looked after the service was 100% amazing and the food was amazing ????.

Going to spur has become atleast a monthly visit as the kids have so much fun and the food is really good.

The Spur is very nice and clean.

Highly recommend ????

We waited super long to get a table and once we got one, our waitress walked away from us in the middle of taking our order. The chips were moldy and dry and the steak was definitely not 200 grams.
Only good thing was the tap water!!

Currently the place is being renovated but service and quality of their food leaves something to be desired. Been eating at spur my whole life, we go there because the kids an playground but the preparation of the food could do with some improvements.

Service was very quick in this spur. I got in, and as soon as I sat, my waiter was here introducing themselves and asked what was I having for drinks. I ordered a drink and a spare rib special. It took about 2 minutes to get the drink, as I was still looking at my phone without touching my drink, my meal was here already. The ribs were good as usual. Onion rings were crispy outside and with a lil bit of tenderness and sweetness on the inside. Exactly how I love them. As I finished, I requested waffles. This time they had a cherry on top and I very much enjoyed them. So I am giving this spur all star for the fastest service ever, and for the good food. I didn’t hear music a lot because this spur is inside the mall and I sat right at the corner where your view is the mall.

The food in this particular Spur was good. For the first time I enjoyed a meal at Spur. But the waiters are terrible. They don’t attend in time and will bring ribs without water or even wipes for the hands. But the floor managers would just be standing around not assisting either. One can see there is no team work here.

So this is not the first I’ve had bad service but every time I’ve had bad service the manager mama lulu would always ensure we’re satisfied. From being served uncooked pork, to having a chef who can’t tell the difference between medium and medium rare. But nonetheless mama lulu always sorted us out. I drive all the way from Durbanville just to have Mama Lulu sort us out.

But tonight 8 July took the cake for me . We sat down and gave our order at roughly 15/20 past 8, 9:00 still no meal . Now I can understand had this been a complex meal to take that long but , for two burgers and fries I find it extremely unreasonable. Our drinks became warm ice melted , who wants to eat food and finish with warm drinks.

Then my partner and I decided to leave and only pay for our drinks the manager tells us to sit he will bring the food. I insist it’s fine and he continues to insist we sit. Which I refuse because it’s 21:00pm already . Had this been the first time of experiencing a issue I might have stayed.

I paid for the drinks even tho it was pointless as everyone orders a coke for food. But without food I literally just paid R25 for a coke .

But yeah that’s it from me .

Keep the money and choke on it. I curse that money .
