My husband had the T-bone steak again and it was delicious as usual. I tried the Grilled Sole Bonne Femme with the prawns and mussels. It was DIVINE. The creamy cheese sauce just rounded off the dish so nicely. Always lovely to dine at Nelson's Eye because the food is always good there.

Quaint and unassuming restaurant, the service is super fast and friendly. Went there on a recommendation from a close friend. I loved it, will be making this one of my new homes. I had the T bone, best beef I’ve had in the Cape. Highly recommend ????????

Came here with a friend that showed me the location. Had an awesome t-bone (800g). Was well filled and had great wine on top. Would 100% recommend!

Game was cooked to the point. Very helpful staff with a lot of attention to detail and suited wine recommendations. Also don’t miss out on the delicious Malva pudding dessert.

This is a phenomenal, stand out restaurant. The large steaks are really delicious and the cafe butter (cafe de Paris) is such a good accompaniment. Their steaks really are up there with the best in the city, and their specials are so incredibly well priced. Corkage is on the steep end, but they have a good wine cabinet. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. It is always a treat to visit.

We ate here 6 years ago and still talk about it. Assuming it is still the coziest envt and most fantastic steak meal you will ever eat I highly recommend it. Next time we are in Cape Town we are coming back!
