Amazing experience at the Mount Nelson hotel.

Extremely friendly staff, couldn't help enough. Very pleasant and helpful.

WiFi was good. Usual Ruckus performance. The network could be a lot more secure, but otherwise, it was okay.

Food was out of this world. I actually can't say I've ever had a platter like that before. I think the food was delicious, definitely worth coming a second time for.

Tea was freshly poured. The hotel had over 40 flavorful teas to choose from. Presentation of everything was great, loved the glassware used.

Live piano players made the atmosphere extremely relaxing. An overall pleasant, warming and inviting environment.

From the door to the table, everything was clean. A remarkably sanitary building, even the bathrooms were spotless.

Highly recommended for a visitor staying overnight, or a local having launch/ afternoon tea.

Classy and classic bar that serves up top notch cocktails and sophisticated wines. The verandah is a glorious piece of tranquility in the middle of the city. It does cater to the well heeled but it is not too expensive. Pop in and enjoy the whiff of a time gone by.

Food is great (except the fish that is slightly dry). Service is excellent especially the waiting staff.

A beautiful interior awaits as you enter the foyer through the revolving door. Step back in time to an era where elegance was the only way. The cosy bar sits on your left with a fire place for winter's evenings. Walk through the conservatory to the outside terrace and enjoy a glass of wine while breathing in the scents of the garden. Some menu options will ensure you don't go hungry. Alternatively ask for a table at the restaurant adjacent to the bar.
