The place (reception, conference room and lobby) is beautifully decorated, employees are friendly and professional. Had an issue with my room but was quickly resolved.

The room were a bit of a let down for me, although the view (garden) from the room was nice. I was disappointed by the design and decor in the room.

The food was not bad, ordered room service (this service will cost you R25 extra).

My wife and I have been to this hotel twice and we love it! We had one incident where the rooms weren't cleaned and allocated, but the manager made it up abundantly. We left very happy and can't wait to be back. I also love how all the hotel staff called us by name 'Mr and Mrs Govender'.

I've got to mention the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly except for the one waiter who did prefer not to be of any help during our evening meal, luckily one of the managers did come and assist and wait on us with the biggest of smiles for the rest of the evening.

Rooms are beautiful, unfortunately my bedside plug wasn't working and the shower was blocked but they said they would fix the issues right away when I checked out.

I had a great stay and would certainly book again.

Wonderful place entirely because of its friendly and sophisticated staff. Very warm welcome and efficient service. The food was extremely good, inventive, again with good service and a great choice of wine. Nice, yet simple, decor. A pool. A shuttle brings us to the beach and the markets near by. Very good memories.

Thank you to all the Lord Charles staff for a lovely anniversary weekend. From the time we arrived we were spoiled and surprised. The staff were very attentive, especially the breakfast staff. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing, and we'll definitely be back again.

Great staff. While attending a conference I left my car lights on and came back to a flat battery many hours later. the staff were incredibly helpful in getting jump leads immediately and sending me on my way. a great hotel and wonderful staff.
