This is what I scraped from the take-away box. Now I don't know if it's a "take-away thing" or just Ocean Basket itself.

Platter for one. My thumb is bigger than the 3 mussels. Thanks for half a fish, can't even give me the last little triangle part of a full fish.

The food wasn't bad at all, mussel sauce is always to die for, prawns was soft and tasty.

1 star goes for the highly expensive R205 for a platter only to get half a fish and a small amount of everything else. I'm not the only one complaining, people talk.
The bonus star is because it still tastes good.

Amazing service the the staff are all lovely and friendly thank you for your wonderful service on Sunday to me and my family! The children's section is perfect too will definitely come back again

Ocean Basket Glengarry never disappoints, on entrance the staff always greets you warmly.
The venue is neat and looks clean. The seating arrangements are what you would expect from a restaurant, and there's a smoking section.
Our waitress was very polite and eager to please.
Drinks were served quickly and our meals were taken and delivered as requested.
All in all a great experience.
There are restrooms which are clean and well kept!
Plenty of safe free parking.

So, if i want to eat fish, i always go to Ocean Basket Glengarry. The service was always fantastic. But yesterday, as it was my birthday, i decided to spoil myself. The waiter that was serving us, service was pathetic. She was so occupied with the couple that was drinking and having shooters, that she did not bring all the condiments to our table. I had to wait for her to look up to show her that we just want salt and pepper. (The food itself was great.) After we had our first coffee, we decided on a cooler. She then asked if we wanted something else to drink, we ordered 2 strawberry coolers. Still busy eating at that stage, she came back and went straight to the drinking couple and did not even blink our way. Still taking them their drinks..... After we ate, she finally came to the table and took the empty pans. She then asked if we wanted something else and we said, only the bill. Still waiting for the coolers that never arrived. Management must really see that the waiters call on all tables and not just the younger couples having a good time. She spoiled that was supposed to be the highlight of my Birthday!

One of the better Ocean basket franchises around.
Our waitress was super high energy and the dishes were served quickly and correctly. In a world of franchise mediocrity this restaurant stands out. Well worth a visit.

I took my parents out for lunch and they really enjoyed it. It was our second time there and definitely won't be the last. The food was really delicious and our server Sonique was fantastic. The Kingklip bites were very tasty.

We went for supper and we were helped immediately and service was really great. Was very impressed with how quickly the food arrived and it tasted really delicious. Would recommend the grilled salmon - it's amazing. They have a great kids play area and a decent smoking area as well. Love that ita situated on the second floor as it gives a great view looking out and perfect for when the sun goes down.
