Oh my gosh. Where do I even begin? My partner and I ate here yesterday for the first, and last, time. Place was about half full when we arrived, and was emptier when we left. Long wait for the waitress (she was very friendly, though). Coffee came relatively quickly. Then another long wait to order. We ordered really simple stuff: savory mince on toast for me, an egg, some chips and a grilled tomato for her. Then we waited and waited. And waited. And waited. Something very strange was going on in the kitchen because after a long dry spell, suddenly a whole bunch of orders for different tables came out together. Our simple order took more than 30 minutes (was probably closer to 45). I want to make the point again that it wasn't busy. After all that, my savoury mince was lukewarm. The chips my partner ordered looked disgusting (and tasted that, according to her). The grilled tomato was mostly raw. We left most of the food on our plates, paid and left. Won't be back. Ever.

Lovely setting, great decor, friendly and efficient waiters but.... their bacon is like lumps of thick dry ham... horrible. Got my eggs right, toast was perfect etc. The ham ...sorry, bacon, stops me from going back there for breakfast. Pity, could have been a great alternative to the Wimpy around the corner. (Their bacon is fantastic)

Just wasted R36 on a flat white that tasted like burnt ashtray. Sorry for the negativity but it has really started to get to me these days that cafes can't produce decent tasting coffee and I end up throwing away yet another cup of coffee (I.e. Money down the drain) ????

The place is nice apart from the coffee. If you weren't born in the karoo then don't order coffee here.

We had a visitors day at our weekly meeting. Nandi and her team managed the extra guests with great efficiency. Breakfast was served to more than 40 people - hot, tasty and with a friendly smile.

The service was terrible. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone took our order. Then it took at least another half an hour for the food to arrive. Food was not too bad but certainly not worth such a long wait.

Really nice place. Went there few days ago my grandmother and I had our birthdays last Sunday and we really enjoyed it. It is a nice peaceful place to get something to eat with family and friends. There is a nice family like atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing. I'm hoping to go again soon. I would recommend the place to anyone
