Terrible experience! We had to follow up countless times to verify our booking two months ahead of time and then had our booking confirmed by the Director Lee Drake himself, when we arrived late in the afternoon at 6pm, after travelling from East London for the Life Saving Interprovincial Championships, they had no booking for us on their system. After an hour of proving we had made the booking via emails, we were then split up into two different rooms on different floors at the back of the hotel overlooking the noisy generator and water tanks after requesting a family room with a sea view. No apology or explanation or any compensation from the director at all at the time and a week later, shocking customer service and no etiquette for paying guests . The hotel is grimy, only tepid water for showering, no normal tea supplied in rooms and the fridges, bed head rests and carpets in stairway are filthy. It was a untimely, costly and unacceptable experience and we will never be staying there again and do not recommend it at all.
