Voortrekker Park is a very popular caravan park closely situated and walking distance form the Strand beach. It is only a few minutes walking distance to the popular beach front, although the main swimming areas are slightly further on the other side of the Pavilion complex. Very close to the popular fishing spots of Strand. Lots of tree's for shade for the convenience of the visitors using the facility for camping. You will hear the sea during the quiet times of the evening. Also great and safe play area for children.

Campsite is big enough but not clean. They renovated all the chalets and it looks very nice but it seems that the maintenance is not done. Security is out sourced and the people are rude and have no manners. Park staff is friendly and helpful.

It was nice just when u want to book there is never availability but it's all a scam to let ppl use the tent service that they want to sell to u because when u inside there is lots off plots available

The kids had lots of fun playing in the park and tent camping, it's also great that the beach is just a short walk away. Only let down was that not all the toilets were in working order other than that it was great ???? will definitely be visiting again in the chalets.????

Plenty of shady tree coverage, basic recreational play area for kids. The chalets are more than adequate and some disabled friendly.

It has electrified caravan parking bays and nestled out of site of the city. It’s a good break away site. Close to all shops and restaurants and a stone throw from the beach.
