An intimate setting for unique cocktails. While the cocktails are delicious, some are a bit pricey for the size. I personally loved the Swim u0026 Tonic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the service was efficient. The place has a great atmosphere. I personally wouldn’t recommend the food though.

Most incredible cocktail bar in Cape Town!! The food is amazing and excellent value for money. We shared a cheese plate and really really enjoyed it! The cocktails are somewhat expensive, but absolutely worth it. The energetic and friendly staff also makes it a bar with a fun and relaxing atmosphere! Highly recommend this place as a bucket list item in the mother city!!

We came on tiki Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised by this quaint little place. Nice seating and fun atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the whole place reminded me of Burning Man.

Excellent cocktails. Great service. Sat out on the patio with excellent music all night. Staff are all really passionate about what they do. It’s on a quiet street, so not bothered by the hustle and bustle of the city

AMAZING decor and space, but the service was honestly poor.

Then again perhaps my and my friends’ palates aren’t sophisticated enough because when one friend enquired about the amount of gin in a coctkail she was told, “There’s two shots of gin in there and this is not Spur”.

Very poor choice of reaction consider the race and gender of the bartender, and the race and gender of the customer asking the question.

After returning the plastic goldfish that had been hanging out in a forest of green stuff (which I love, but don’t tell me there’s a “forest” in my drink then serve it in a blacked out glass I WANT TO SEE IT) and the two shots of gin amongst other flavorful things, I asked what kind of alcohol was in the shot one gets as reward when returning the fish to the bar. (Brilliant concept btw)

I asked if it was vodka and if there may be a different option (for those of us whose demons are activated specifically by vodka).
The bartender said no it’s not vodka and poured out of a vodka bottle. I expressed my confusion and he said it’s a “special kind of vodka” and I’m tired of recalling this experience now.

Two stars because the menu really is cool and the way they serve some of their drinks is really unique! It’s really unfortunate that we had such a bad experience.

And FYI to that bartender:
Spur pours generously and a decent plain old double Gu0026T under R40 served with a smile wins over a R99 schmocktail served with a bad attitude.

Dimmed lights and antique decor give this cocktail bar a unique atmosphere.
Cocktails are delicious and you can enjoy them inside or on the outside seating.
