Visited Planet Fitness Plattekloof today for a workout. Very nice gym with awesome equipment and facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed all the hammer strength machines! I will be back.

Excellent facilities. Plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, stationary bikes, rowing machines), weight machines and free weights. Can be very busy during usual gym busy hours. Only has 2 squat racks and you can expect the usual gym goer taking up a rack to do arm curls, shrugs or overhead press. Other than that, excellent experience. Had a pool and frequent studio classes. Personal trainers are available for an additional fee.

Have to say that the team here have been a breath of fresh air since leaving Virgin Active after 20 years. A special shout out to Steve, the maintenance guy who seems to do the work of three and is always busy ensuring everything is tip-top. Also to Rihandre for being one of the very few (read only) sales staff who cold canvassed me and was successful. And he retains the relationship. That is the power of connectivity. Well done Team Planet Fitness.

I left Virgin Active and joined Planet fitness for the business hours. Since the pandemic they close at 9 and 4 on a Sunday. This use to be an hour or more later than Virgin Active. Staff is unfriendly and does not greet. The lady at the front desk seems to have an attitude problem. I will soon be cancelling my contract as I see no reason to stay at a gym that closes sooner than Virgin Active and that has staff that makes you feel unwelcome.

Lovely facility. I teach learn to swim at their pool every Mon, Wed, Frid, Sat. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Signed up at a great rate, as kids gym for free.

This is an absolutely great gim, the trainers are really good, front of house staff are great but man o man the people who sell the contracts or are supposed to help you with info need to step up their game drasticly.
Gym is neat, clean and well taken care of. Lovely pool to.

This gym in general is good, but since the pandemic all the studios are not allowed to use except for groups.
The showers are not good. Always a struggle to find a shampoo gadget working properly.
The only reason I go there is because is close home
