First of all getting upstairs is scary and dodgy as hell. The serves was the worst I've ever had In my life. We basically had to call the guys 5 times to get assistance. Ontop of that I saw a cockroach on the seat I was on. The lights are dim, it's not romantic it just look dodge.

However the food was great. But we didn't like the ribs tasted a bit old.

Wonderful evening spent at Primi! Sat close to the crackling fireplace on a cold winter's night, spectacular views! The food was both prepared, and presented, in a lovely way. The pizzas were tasty, all fresh ingredients, superb waitering and bar staff, the manager is top of his game! We had a relaxing, unrushed evening. Will definitely recommend!

So disappointed with the management at Primi. We had a complaint about the drink my friend ordered. Long island ice tea which had no alcohol. The manager came to our table and blamed us for taking more than one sip (to determine that he isnt crazy) but fine we understand that he was unhappy about that. But he just spoke over me and kept being incredibly rude. Then another manager came and raised his voice at us. I've never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant before and i just wanted to get out as fast as possible. Then we get a new drink and its half empty. And we were too scared to call a manager again because they were so rude. Our waitress was lovely though.

Being a regular here I just have to give credit where credit is due. Never had a bad experience here for the 9 years I’ve been dining here …
Always a warm welcome and always asked where we would like to be seated and never too much trouble when asking for anything.

Not fancy but welcoming. Cozy I. Winter with fires .. beautiful views and great menu options.

I really do recommend the zucchini fries and the chicken livers peri peri … my two firm faves with a good bottle of Groote Post red wine ..

Love this place
One star removed just because at times you need to get the waiters attention but things are quickly seen to after that …

Our milkshakes and food was great as always! The view here is AMAZING. Make sure to book a window seat prior to your visit!

Went for lunch at the restaurant just before 1 pm. Besides myself there were only 6 other patrons in there. The server who greeted me said I could seat myself anywhere, so I took a seat at a larger table with a great view. Soon after I was seated another server side I couldn't be seated there as the table was for a group of 8 people. I asked if they were expecting a large group to which she said no and insisted I sit at a smaller table. I moved, and placed my order for lunch. A simple plate of pasta a veg that should have taken no more than 20 minutes. The server disappeared and only got back to me 50 minutes later with my food. The only saving grace was that the food was still hot and the veg was tasty. Very disappointed with my recent visit. Doubt I'll go back.

Primi isn’t what it used to be. The waiters are very friendly and I like the plant based options introduced on the menu. However the food is average and you have to pay extra for butter for bread starters, and sides for your meal

Update December 2021: had a lovely quick brunch right by a massive window with a perfect sea view
My meal was delicious and service great
