Was great visiting Rhodes Memorial after last years terrible fire. San Parks however needs to get the wood removed to ensure the safety of visitors. Looking forward to the restaurant being rebuilt.

Stumbled upon the memorial while on a hike up the mountain.

Quite pretty, bigger than expected and wonderful views.

Would be nice if they cleaned up the take away bags stuffed away in the crevices and kept the knowledge board legible.

Not much there other than the monument but that is worth seeing because it is VERY impressive and the views are to die for!

Great place to go any time of the day, preferably morning sunrise, to go relax and unwind, enjoying the picturesque views.

This monument was built more than 100 years ago, yet it still looks like it was built yesterday. It's a great place to get away and take breather while enjoying panaromic views of the city of Cape Town. From the top you see both the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. It's nice quiet space to read a book or just sit and enjoy the air and the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Wonderful views of Cape Town and a really unique monument. It is worth the visit. Currently, the only restroom is a port-a-potty and drinks and snacks are served from a temporary trailer. Hopefully, the new restaurant will begin construction soon.
