A friend and I had High Tea experience yesterday and it was BEAUTIFUL! It was our first time at The Table Bay Hotel and our first High Tea. The atmosphere in the hotel was wonderful and welcoming. From the security at the parking booms to the security at the building's entrance, and the lady at the concierge desk and your reception staff and finally our waitress, Lisiwe, everyone was friendly the epitome of class and professionalism. In this day and age where mediocrity is the order of the day, The Table Bay hotel exceeded our expectations. She is truly magnificent and the festive decor just added to the already lovely ambience. The tiniest gripe was that the menu we were served did not match the menu on your website. Having said that, this was still a FIVE STAR experience. I cannot say enough or rather this review does adequately capture how we felt, suffice to say that, we did not want to leave. Thank you so much for hosting us and making it such a memorable event!

Lovely food, friendly hostess.
The waiters should learn not to talk about patrons while standing close to them, it is unprofessional.

Nice and fancy place. We had a drink and we listen to a very good pianist.

Victorian lounge, with spacious table settings, beautiful old style settees, cosy fire place, great live piano music to create the perfect ambiance. A delightful afternoon spent having the old High Tea experience in a beautiful environment.

Lovely setting, great service but a very average high tea by cape town standards..gluten free options dry, unimaginative and boring.
Could do with a fresh approach
