Another brilliant night out at Piano Bar, celebrating a dear friend's birthday. We were once again impressed with the great service from professional staff, their absolutely delicious, well presented, exotic tapas menu, and the excellent live music performance which adds to a fun and sophisticated night out. We love you, Piano Bar, the true gem of de Waterkant!

This was a lovely venue. The waiter moved our table without asking closer to the live music.
The tapas menus was incredible. lamb Croquettes, BBQ chicken spring rolls u0026 corn ribs were amazing. Recommend.
Unfortunately the Malva pudding was very dry, almost like a traybake cake which was not expected given the high quality of their mains. We did mention this to them and they deducted it from the bill.
Overall, music was great, mains were great and the service was also top notch.

This is the ideal venue for sundowners because of the building's wrap around balcony. They offer a tapas menu. These are all small portions so it is advised that you order at least 3 items per person. Their pricing is a bit high given the portion sizes. 3 items pp plus drinks can cost u around R350 - R400 pp. The food is tasty and well presented. They offer live music which creates atmosphere. When I made the reservation I enquired after the genré of music that the band plays, I was told "a kind of afro jazz". This sounded my alley. The band, a 3 man string ensamble, however played music out of the mid 1930's Can Can era. Understandingly, this is not what I was looking forward to. I must howere commend the band for refined renditions. The service was commendable.

Nice little place. Cocktails and wine was great, the location was so near our AirBu0026B, the lady at the piano sang so beautifully. And there was a projector playing old school pictures films I haven’t seen in quite a while.
Had a lovely experience.

Love this place! Good quality music and always fun to talk to people from all over the world there. Jazz nights and the best nights!

Food beautiful prepared and tasty, however the portion sizes were so tiny that we left hungry after 7 tapas plates (between 2 of us). The prices charged are what you’d expect to pay for a full portion meal so unfortunately not value for money at all. Probably a better option if you’re just looking for a drink and snack.
