Quaint little cocktail and bar lounge with a fun raptor themed aesthetic. We went there on a quiet Tuesday night to watch a standup comedy show.

The vibe is pretty chill and very eclectic. Happy hour includes discount on delicious (and strong) cocktails and a few mixers. For dinner, we tried the loaded fries - R90 (very spicy Jalapeño but scrumptious pulled pork), the vetkoek - R85 (just as tasty). The BBQ hot wings has an acquired taste not really to my liking or personal preference.

Service was great. There are ample parking with security car guards until late. A few other bars are closeby if you'd like to do some bar hopping.

Raptor Room can only be described as someone who commands attention, except it's a restaurant. The over the top pink flamingo inspired decor just adds to the alure of this place.

When it comes to seating, you are spoiled for choice: bar stools, chairs, couches, benches. All your seating needs will be satisfied. The green used throughout takes away from the pink, while the greenery makes you think you're outside. They have a fully stocked bar, some amazing food (so I've heard) and delicious cocktails (I had Peach Please - fun right). The bathroom was clean, they were sanitizing and practicing social distancing. And the staff? The staff! They're all fabulous. I'm not sure if the place is wheelchair accessible because the floor layout doesn't give off that impression.

Visited here recently and was impressed. Despite the small size, things were prepared quickly and the flavour and portion sizes were great. I had the burger with sweet potato fries and the flavour was really nice.
Also worth noting that the names of the dishes were named fantastically.
While the plates shaped like leaves were great, they did make eating; (we were 5 people at a small table) somewhat uncomfortable.

One of the best spots to go for a meal that will fill and satisfy you on another level. The staff are always friendly, the wait for food isn’t long at all and they have Steri Stumpies on offer. The mac and cheese is a personal favourite and so is their gatsby. The decor is also trendy and refreshing and I always feel good after a visit here. I’d recommend this to anybody who’s looking for a great night out.

If you're looking for a heavenly eating experience free of the 'in crowd' but with a fresh style and even fresher food get here. Of course the food is delicious and beautifully presented but for me it was the unique combinations on my plate that left me feeling years younger and ready to climb Skeleton Gorge. Healthy +++. This place deserves to be recognised as the inspired place it is, your body deserves to experience it. ????

Raptor Room is truly a little gem in Cape Town! From the awesome staff and management, delicious and well priced menu and stunning decor to the kickass music events they host! There's even wi-fi and plugs so you can sit and work there. If you haven't been there yet, you don't know what you're missing! ☆☆

A lovely place with good food and friendly staff. They have great vegetarian options — try their mac and cheese, and maybe their deep fried romany creams for dessert. Parking can be tricky, since it's only street parking. They have a stage and live performances depending on the night.
