This is a beautiful Black-owned restaurant and bar in the hip and buzzing district of Morningside.

I’ve always come here for drinks hence am not well-versed with the quality of the food-menu offerings but there is a code on the table where you can scan for the menu. They have a wide variety of drinks / beers on offer.

Given how full and loud and venue can get, the outside tables actually provide a better experience for groups of friends coming together as you’re able to hear each other comfortably and dance if you want to. Plus Durban is never cold so you can always afford to sit outside.

The owner has put a great deal of effort into the interior decorating and the quality of art pieces selected to the adorn the walls is simply exquisite. It definitely adds to the overall experience of the venue.

The bathrooms are unisex, however, there is a dedicated staff members manning the facility, dispensing paper towels and ensuring overall safety and hygiene of the bathrooms.

With the great number of similar offerings along the famous Florida Road, choosing to spend your evening at AuthentiQ would be one of your best choices.

This restaurant is exquisite!!! We had their date night deal and it was a 3-course meal that was to DIE for. All the courses were divine and there was bottomless Champaign, I mean...!?
The decor is so well put together, they have amazing well curated art and the ambiance is so serene. They will stand the test of time!

I love it here
The restaurant side has a very sophisticated ambiance to it
The music is calming
The prices are a bit high but I think it’s worth it
The food is amazing
The service is amazing
I highly recommend wow

Good place, really chilled . But I've seen the vibe by the bar ,it is nice until the music stops to play another song . So i would suggest a DJ booth , i am a dj by profession and i would like to be the resident dj of the place .

Best restaurant on Florida Road. The food is amazing, the staff are professional and friendly. The environment is exhilarating with top class service by the bar men.

The attached photo is of a R650 meat platter. I was extremely disappointed by the expensive cost of such a small platter and one that was mediocre in taste. I would not recommend this restaurant for dining, maybe come here for cocktails and pretty aesthetic of the place.

Little to no variety on the menu, everything that we ordered was out of stock which was quite disappointing considering it was month end weekend, however I really have to commend the service that we received from Sazi it was extremely great and he was quite helpful
