It was good. Not Wow!
That’s the best way to describe this establishment. The steak is cut into strips. They should make that clear. I know it’s written on the menu but when your waiter asks you how you want your steak, you are just not expecting it to be served, cut in strips. The teriyaki sauce was good ( spicy). The burgers looked interesting but you go to a steakhouse to enjoy a steak. I may return to try the burgers. But on first impressions, I could not understand the high rating.

Loved the flavour of the steak! Only thing I didn’t love was the cut and doneness. But the flavour was really great and more-ish. Try the herbed butter steak ???????? the sliders were yummy too

This place would be 5 stars if they improve on the following:
1. Have a working landline that you can call in to make a reservation and to find out if they’re busy.
2. More friendly staff that make sure you’re attended to now and then. And staff that communicate well. Just leaving menus on the table and coming back 10 minutes later doesn’t work.
3. Improve on the turn around time for orders. It shouldn’t take an hour to get my order ready even though it’s 5 of us.

The food is really good. Possibly the best steak in Durban. They should improve on the above and they will undoubtedly thrive and succeed. Thanks for listening

Simply wow! The service was awesome. The steak was heavenly. Soft and melting. Sliders even better. Highly recommend. (Especially since we waited for 1.5hrs at Rjs only to be told there is no fillet steak, the universe lead us to this gem)

Undoubtedly the best burger in Durban atm. I've tried other establishments but nothing compares to the juicyness and tenderness of an ironman rare steaks cheese burger. I must admit though, I eat the one with four patties and then have a eating hiatus for 24 hours, but it is very much worth it. Wagyu burgers don't compare to this burger. There is relish, a homemade brioche bun and perfectly crispened smash patties. I fully intend to eat as many as I can before I die. I like my burgers to have that caramelized sweet flavor. If that is to your liking, give it a try. If it's not, you might be pleasantly surprised.
