Very very busy and therefore a long wait for your food, but it's worth it.
Very tasty food and worth an extra few minutes when ordering.
The staff are super friendly and fun.
The atmosphere is good.
The food was also worth it with the current specials.
Hot ,tasty ,food, and it was freshly prepared.
Overall a good experience and would recommend for a lovely seafood meal.
Ask them for extra sauce on the prawns as it's great ????

The crumbed mushrooms were the best I've ever eaten and definitely something I'd have again

I don't do John Dory's due to bad experiences in Cape Town and George but what a difference at suncoast. After all the meat over the festive season my husband and I decided to do a date night with fish on the menu. Looked around at suncoast and settled for John Dory's with skepticism. Seated quickly and our drinks order taken promptly. It was a little busy but we did not wait long for the drinks to arrive and ordered a salmon poke bowl to share as a starter and a seafood platter for main. Everything was very well presented and prepared. The waiter was attentive and even managers made regular stops at the table. I highly recommend this branch and hopefully the cape town and George branch can improve on their service the way the do. Well done management and staff John Dory's Suncoast

It was womans day. Took my mum out. Ques outside were long, but it was ok since it was an holiday. Ordered a Platter for 2 (R319) and a Portuguese steak. I was very impressed. The food was delicious took about 40 min waiting time for the food. Steak was done medium rare has I ordered and had a delicious sauce. Please note the steak is not the best on the market but for the price it was good. They did forget my hot Veg which I Ordered but it's not a biggie. Will Def go there again. Food was priced right and very affordable with the quantities served.

Thank you for the wonderful, quick , efficient, friendly service . From the lady that greeted us at the door and led us to the table, to the waiter who was so polite and nice , manager who checked in and the chef who, during the business of boxing day, sent out well presented, perfectly cooked meals in great time, we were really impressed . The complimentary bowl of popcorn was nice a touch this festive season. Covid protocols were well met with waiters wearing their masks appropriately, sanitising stations available and good airflow. Definitely recommend ????

Not the best of experience ????. Was served by waitress named Milly .Her approach could have been more professional rather than" hi you ready"...after I looked up that was changed to "ready to order ".The prawn avalanche one of my favorites was disappointed the prawns were raw .I asked the lady to have it changed. The second round was average with a piece of shell still on the prawn.The main of Calamari main was good ,however the peas and carrots were still hard .the young lady manager did apologize and explained that after investigating it was the oil fryer that was too high ...waitress was pleasant and couldn't fault her much .I will have to seriously looked at the other options available in the area on my next eat out .

Starters : 6x oysters
Mains : Poke bowl
Food not bad nothing special all fresh no complaints though.
Unfortunately the service let them down while still eating the starters mains arrived and placed on the table I think some training would go a long way here always had to look for service. get up from the table and find service not what one expects.

OMG!!!! I liked the setting, the waiter and waitresses are helpful, i mean the service was super good. I am satisfied with the service i was served with. They are friendly. By the way the food was extremely good, continue satisfying our needs as costumers, we appreciate you.☺️????
