Should have enjoyed my lunch from Roti u0026 Chai if the meat balls was cooked. Pity they put sugar in their tea. Apart from that all foods could be very tasty. Why do you employ people who know nothing about cooking???? Front service good.
2nd time we come here wait do very long just for tea and samoosas. It's unreal.

I am disappointed with the service I received yesterday (23/07/2022). I placed my order at 15:01 and only got my order at 15:35 when I went to the counter and asked the employee despite having the buzzer with me which never actually went off. She then proceeded to get my order ready which it still wasn't done properly as she forgot to give me my drink which I had to ask for. The food was tasty but one of the meals was cold too.
I do enjoy the food but poor service is really unfortunate.

So it was a Friday morning 23 September and it said that they open at 11, my friends and I waited and asked what time they open the lady rudely said 11:30 and we waited. At 11:10 they were giving some other people food to deliver. It was 11:50 and they still never open. There was about 7 of my friends waiting and we couldn’t wait any longer so we left and gave another place our business.

I love Roti and Chai and familiarized myself with the branch on Florida Road and only eat their Tikka Paneer Wrap. I was at Suncoast and decided to give the branch a try. Was sad that the service was bad and the food was terrible, ordered the Tikka Paneer which looked and tasted nothing like Tikka. There was 3 blocks of paneer and looked more like a Mayo Paneer Wrap. Will definitely stick to the Roti and Chai on Florida Road which gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I ordered 3 wraps from Roti and Chai Suncoast made a request if they could please cut it in halves as we don't normally finish them. The attendant adamantly said they cannot cut it in halves even if the customer requests.
Poor service.

Going to Durban, you need to drop in by Roti u0026 Chai. Went there on holiday and man o man it was worth it. Atmosphere amazing, food nice, if you like it hot the place to go and staff friendly.

I can recommend the chicken naan wrap. The naan is extremely soft but make sure you order the spicy version to get that extra flavour, the milder alternative is still tasty but the spicy version is way better. The chicken pieces are very big, it could be cut down to bite sizes, but regardless, the taste is there.
