It was so cool! It was my first time and I absolutely loved it! Everyone is so friendly and helpful,the atmosphere is laid back and the children are happy with the enormous play area's. The food was good and dessert was even better. The decor is very eclectic and intriguing. Lounge Area was comfortable and inviting.

I originally posted a 2-star review last year but I'm happy to say that today's experience was leagues better than all of our previous experiences at Pallet Jacks.

Our waiter was fast and efficient, despite the restaurant being relatively busy. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and we were happy to see that most of the original menu items have been reinstated. Honestly the best fish cakes I've had in Durban (worth a weekly visit), and a great pap and wors starter that is definitely worth a mention.

A few of the waiters even joined in the kids' game of tag, which left the kids delighted and exhausted... smiles all round. The generator kicking in during yet another loadshedding event was an added bonus.

Well done to the new owners, who contacted me after my original review, promising great changes. I'm happy they were able to rise to the challenge, and wish them all the best for the future. ????

This restaurant has the potential to be so much more. The play facilities are excellent and well-maintained but the menu offers very little and the food itself tastes pre-frozen and microwaved. Staff are notoriously slow and are devoid of warmth or enthusiasm. Considering there were only 3 tables there between 6 and 8pm and considering it was during load-shedding and the restaurant has a generator and full power, the management needs to take a look at making some changes (first step would be to improve on the menu offerings).

Great kids venue. Loved the food. Kids didn't want to leave. Looking forward to having our kids party there. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Cosy and fun atmosphere.

Great place for kids. Pizzas are tasty and crumbed chicken wings very nice.

Awesome kids friendly restaurant in hillcrest.worth a stop with the kids to enjoy the play area.best is the grey monkeys come and play along. ????

Lovely place for kids and it is very well priced. There just needs to be a bit more variety and the service is a little slow.
