It’s our first visit to Union Square! Awesome meals and staff are friendly, professional and polite. This is such a good environment to relax while kiddies have a little play area that parents can monitor easily. I ordered a starter livers which was absolutely delicious and for my main I had a steak stuffed with mozzarella cheese and mushroom. Steak done to perfection and a very satisfying meal. Will definitely make Union Square Hillcrest a good few more visits. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Both positives and negatives...food was delicious and well presented....they had no stock of the half chicken that I initially ordered which I substituted with the awesome Mexican pizza....the wait was a bit too long but is still worth it.....the veg pizza came with toppings missing(feta and rocket) but was generously compensated fot when it came back....the amazing looking waffle wasn't cooked through.

A little small both the restaurant and kids play area ... but staff were friendly and food was great value for money and very tasty.

We will be back and will bring our friends.

Overall not a bad experience.. although I do think the staff could do with a bit more training on their products and improve their customer service. The meals served here are very unique and it would be helpful if the staff could tell us a little more about the meals, ingredients, specials and just give options. I don't know maybe just an off day for the waitress... nice chilled atmosphere and play area for the kids.

Not very happy with first impressions of Union Square. Starter arrived after the main meals and the cleanliness of the cutlery, glassware and overall store is questionable. 2 partially eaten burgers were found at the wash basin close to opening hours and glassware does not seem to be washed for some time. Cutlery were heavily oiled and unwiped after what seemed to be just rinsed.

Good service and gratious portions of tasty food! Nice variety on the Menu too.
The Nachos Trash Can is a must try

We went here for a quick bite and recieved excellent service and decent food. The veggie burgers were average but huge and very healthy so definitely would have one again. It was quiet for a Saturday night so hopefully more people will discover this gem soon.
