We have always wanted to stay at the Elangeni especially after hearing such great reviews of the hotel. This is our first stay and we are in absolute heaven. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious, the beds are 5 star -I can't remember the last time I slept so well! The view of the beach from our room is spectacular. The food is next level with a huge selection to choose from every morning. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. We are already looking forward to out next stay.

I was mostly in the conference and meeting rooms, which were spacious and well kept. They had great services. Their food is extremely rich and portions could be better planned to provide enough options for all. More salad and fruit options would also be nice. The hotel is on the beach front with lovely walks and stunning views. However, if you are not a local, you will be pestered by homeless people and scammers and you might find the surrounding area to be quite filthy. Parking is also not the greatest nor the safest. Nevertheless, the hotel staff is polite and really helpful and the rooms and services seem quite fancy.

Wow excellent service, warm and lovely staff. It definitely felt like home. I particularly loved how your team moved between the tables making sure we are still good. Honestly I will be bring my family during the festive season to enjoy your hospitality. Thank you and again well done to your team!!

Fabulous breakfast buffet. Enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable and the room had a lovely view of the sea. The hotel is well situated close to the promenade. We did not hire a car for the weekend and spent lovely sunny days walking and exploring the promenade. We walked to the aquarium even.

It was our first stay and really amazing. The rooms are a little bit too small but I guess you get what you pay for. We took a standard room but was very spacious.
The service is also amazing especially from the housekeeping staff, because they were always friendly and always willing to help.
The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of choices and accommodates everyone. the restaurants that are also there are very convenient, but when it's a full house like the Comrade Marathon weekend, getting your meal can take quite some time because you need to que until the next available table.
Located in a very beautiful area by the beach, all rooms are facing the beach.
Parking also available at R50 per day/night and its undercover, although it's first come first serve, we never struggled even when it was fully packed, it's actually enough for everyone.
A lovely experience overall.

Has a very helpful client relations desk that goes all the way to make sure guests get what they want. 24/7 help-desk that will even replace a room fridge on request. All staff members are tops and friendly. Chef promptly prepared what wasn't on the day's menu for our 100 year-old "princess" who came to celebrate her birthday. Excellent service throughout
