2nd review: Excellent service, excellent meal! The fillet beef and lamb chop tepinyaki, from start to finish, watching the chef prepare them was an experience. The fact that you can see the ingredients also makes you appreciate the quality of the food you're getting. Sushi was about the best in Durban - as you should expect from the premier Japanese restaurant in DBN. Warm saki and Kirin beer was a great combo with the meals.

1st: Great atmosphere, deliciuos tepinyaki made at your table. Just a bit pricey for what you get, but overall cant complain

Hands down the best restaurant we have been too. Decor is authentic and very versatile, perfection to the tee. Staff are over and above friendly and there to cater for your every need. Our Waiter Energy ⛮ is amazingly friendly and obviously full of Energy. The manager herself is very engaging with her customers. Food is out of this world, as my wife says tastes so good it feels illegal.. Taste explosion. #foodgasm. Ambiance is fit for this and I would definitely recommend you make a stop pass here. Great for all crowds. 5 Stars ✨ P. S It was my wife's birthday ???? and asked if they do anything specific, answer was No in general but Energy made a plan. The picture below says it all! Must try the Julio tea, iced green tea infused with lemon and tequila. Tepanyaki is Devine experience. The green tea iced cream is for the ultimate foodie who loves an experience. Totally worth the night.

Great experience getting to see the chef prepare your food in front of you. Seating could be abit better it's a little cramped. Not having enough space for your platter, glasses, plates and side plates. Service however started of good and then got really bad when more people came in. We waited a long time to get someone's attention to ask for the bill and then it took a while for them to provide the bill and then another 5-10 minutes for a card machine. Was the same when I wanted another drink. Food was 7/10 too much soy sauce made it salty we had the seafood platter. Service a 6/10. The atmosphere is nice. I found it very entertaining but not a restaurant id visit again.

I really dont understand how this restaurant has such a high rating.the sushi is of take away standards.we had ordered a seafood tepanyaki.which is R305.what do you get for that.you get a "salad".which is grated carrot n cabbage n spinach n clumped together noodles in one bowl all covered with a disgusting dressing which is served with they say a salmon skewer but was brought just the skin on a skewer.i really wanted to leave after starter but manger said we cant cause food has been started to be prepared. So we stayed for various seafood which was 1 prawn n 2 mussels n fish n calamari.no difference in flavour due to all been drenched with some flavorless water.n dessert was 1 scope of ice cream.what a waste of time n money.place is just a status thing.never again. Waste of a beautiful venue.pics of salad

Tried out the sushi, the food was great however as a result of the fact that this place is so popular and was packed had to wait way longer than normal to get my food.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and food. Sat at the teppanyaki and the chef was very accommodating with regards to my allergies.
