Definitely a nice Spar. Excellent selection of fresh fruit and veg. The bakery also has an excellent selection of goodies.
I often travel about 5km to visit this Spar in preference to using the one that is 200m from me.
Certainly one of the better Spars that I’ve been to.

Second best Spar in Durban CBD. After Avondale. Great help. The butcher folk specially made lamb mince for me. Really cool people and nicely laid out shop. Lots of parking and access for wheelchairs. Veg area is way too small for all the folks shopping in there at peak times. Needs more space.

This is a busy Spar, needs more floor space and a major makeover. While super convenient, I've had many issues buying here. Fruit section is never short on flies, quality hasnt been the best for a bit, breadrolls that claimed packed today tastes a day or two old, funky smelling meat on more than one occasion. avoid these. all in all its a spar, it has the basics needed in a hurry, cues get long... I do recommend but hardly an exiting place to shop. staff are friendly and a joy to interact with but thats that...

Best supermarket in Glenwood. It's surprisingly big for the little shopping centre it's located in. Neat and tidy. Always good specials. The hot and cold ready made foods are great and convenient. Nice bakery too.

A bit of an unusual discovery but pleasant. Mixture of your usual supermarkets with many artisan stores. Has that good-old-days feel about it. Not gentrified.
