They don't have a functioning reception,upon arrival we called the number that is written on the wall until we almost gave up no one answered the phone. The owners are never available they use the poor 2 Zimbabweans ladies who can't even speak English or any other South African language ???? the standard of the rooms is very poor ???? it shows that there's no maintenance.They also demand 300(cash) deposit no one told about 300 deposit .I can go on and on all I can say CRESCENT GUEST HOUSE IS A SCAM!!!!it's not worthy the money.

The experience was very bad. They advertise things that they don't have. Air-conditioning not working, WiFi not for guest's. Every morning the cleaning ladies come into the hose and make noice. No respect for guest's. Big kitchen but not to be used by guest's. Big fridge not to be used by guest's. Guest's fridge is one small bar fridge to be shared by 8 guest's. No private fridge in the room. When you raise issues nothing is done about it. And when you want to cancel you get told that you will not get your money back. Very bad experience. Stay away if you can.

The TV is of a very old model, the dstv only allowed u to watch very few channels. The couch In house Jeanette was old n very unfortunate n dirty that they had to cover it with a cloth.the bar stools are very old n can rip your clothes. I hated the fact that we had to pay an iron.

1. Paid for a 4 sleeper and only 2 single beds in a run-down room.
2. One mattress was in the open plan area which was made up when I had enquired about the 4 sleeper.
3. Noisy premisis and mosly males all around
4. Glass sliding door didn't even close properly so couldn't be locked
5. Paying R1700 for 2 nights accommodation in a run down room did not go well with me
6. Kitchen cupboards falling apart
7. Unprofessional checking in with a marker being erased by hand and me signing over it
8. Beds were rundown
9. Taxi was parked in the yard and people drinking inside
10. Overall shabby appearance of the accommodation
11. Would the owner pay R1700 and be content with staying at this establishment?
13. For these reasons I had to take my kids to more suitable accommodation late at night-totally unacceptable
14. unsuitable for 3 females who drove 2 hours to get there.
15. A full refund was not even given
16. Pictures online are not true

The most horrific guesthouse ever!
The lady at reception was so unprofessional, didn't know how and where to check a group in of 18 hockey people!!!
They insisted on a cash payment, didn't want to accept an EFT, that already made me mistrust them.
The whole place is run down, needs urgent maintenance.
The fridge not working inside on of the houses, a fridge that 7 girls had to share, I repeatedly asked them to replace the fridge with a working fridge.
The oven is broken, but according to the land lady still working, a BIG SAFETY HAZARD!!
The kitchen is filthy dirty, everything is run down and very old, it's very clear that NO MAINTENANCE has been done in a long time.
The top up electricity ran out during night, girls woke up to no power and ice cold water, when phoned to complain, we were told that they only start working at 7!!
Unacceptable!!
WORST PLACE EVER!!!
NOT FIT HUMAN ACCOMMODATION!!

Customer service wasn't great. Place isn't kept clean and very little works, fridge, stove, sliding door and lights weren't working. Also next to a busy highway, so very noisy. Really would not recommend.

The worst place ever. What is advertised is not there and the service is completely pathetic. Would not recommend this place for an animal.
