Excellent location. Peaceful except for the traffic on the road directly in front of the Venue. The latter a bit of a nuisance when the windows or door are open for fresh air. The lack of air conditioner is disappointing and forces the guest to rely on open windows on a hot day.
Biggest disappointment is definitely the lack of maintenance and general poor state of the rooms. My bathroom ceiling was covered with black mold. Furthermore the paint of the balcony ceiling was peeling off in large chunks. Was wondering when a piece would break off and fall into my plate:).
In summary: Food was excellent. View was fantastic. Service very friendly, but for the price paid the general state of the rooms are not unacceptable. I could be wrong but it seems like the owners of Blue Bay are hoping the good location and excellent view of the sea will make up for the poor condition of the rooms. Not so.
