This was absolute amazing! Their services are top tier, food is Great. You also get the beach view! Worth every penny.

The rooms were clean, and the service was great eg, when we arrived the heater was not functioning, and I reported the next morning electrician was there fixed the problem and the rest is history.
As for location it's out of the question, perfectly situated.

Rooms are a bit small. The absolute basic for a sleep over. Small tv. A kettle. Shower. Air con . Security of rooms and your luggage is ok. Security at the place itself. They really need to up their game People were very loud in the corridors. Nobody even asked them to calm down. I really will think twice to go here again. I really like their system when you leave the premises. Using tokens. Nice one. Only saw it here

The worst experience ???? . There are no microwaves in the rooms, no fridge, no cutlery, no plates, no irons. The fact that you have to go downstairs to borrow the iron has to be the worst, the sheets looks like they have been used for a very long time. There no toilets brushes, no airfreshners. Yho ha a, the heater wasn't working in my room. The wardrobes are really small for sharing people. They only have one breakfast everyday, no variety at all.

Although they advertise room service, the two times we asked for it, it was not possible for them to do.
Upon arrival, the coffee and tea station was not replenished for 2 people to use.
Sadly, the front desk ladies did not make us feel welcome. No welcoming smiles and when you ask something, you receive very short and abrupt responses.
I worked in hospitality myself, friendliness and kindness are two key factors in this job.

The only lady who was friendly, was Phumeza, thank you for making us feel welcome at least once during our 3 day stay.

We had very fond memories of our previous stays at Road Lodge over the past 15 years, sadly that is not the case for us anymore.

Spectacular service, super clean rooms and so close to everything and safe. Would highly recommend a mini fridge

There was no bar fridge in our room and the toilet floor was wet, we thought it was leaking but not sure.
