An awesome war memorial close to Gearing`s Point in central Hermanus. Another historical point of interest in Hermanus "Hoy`s Koppie". During my Western Cape Tour in October 2020 some more POI`s : The S.A. Naval museum in Simon`s Town and its naval basis: "Noon Gun" in Cape Town and Fort Wynyard in Cape Town.
Again in October 2021 together with my son.

This war memorial is on the coast of Hermanus. Whale watching can be done from here between June and December.
