Oskars is my favourite coffee shop in Hermanus. The coffee never disappoints and their carrot cake is so good! Oskars is my go-to coffee shop whenever in Hermanus.

Great concept! Great coffee! As it should be! A great variety of food options to choose from, all freshly baked. Service is great. Friendly and helpful. Ample parking space available close by. Try to sit outside and enjoy the sound of the ocean Close by.

Such an amazing cafe for coffee, brunch and breakfast. Lovely staff and such good selection. Highly recommend ????

I love Oscars. Today I was very disappointed. We ordered a lovely muffin and a potatoe and spinach tart with two milkshakes. The food arrived. After 20 minutes no milkshakes. We asked for a refund and left. Very sad ????

Been here twice this week to eat. Both times the staff at the till made me feel like im bothering them. Very short and unwelcoming. I ordered food, and my plan was to have a coffee and cake after my food. I have some emails to send but I was told very sharply that laptops are NOT allowed. I understand if you have somebody sitting all day and not ordering or if you need the table and have people queuing; but there were 5 free tables around me!! Perhaps instil a 1.5 hour table seating time if somebody is ordering food and drink the whole time. Now I must go and find somewhere else to have coffee. Such a shame because really such a lovely coffee shop with very nice food!

Firstly let me say that the food was very good, but the staff who work here (barring the friendly barista), were nothing short of unwelcoming, completely miserable and rude, and made my husband and I feel like we were the biggest inconvenience. So much so that we very nearly left to go somewhere else. We frequent Hermanus often as we have family and friends who live there, so this was incredibly disappointing.

A simple thing like asking what fruit juice are available, was met with “look at the menu!”. I have never felt that unwelcome in a restaurant before and frankly it will take a lot for me to go back.

I’m not sure what was going on there, but the owner of Oskar’s needs to know how much his staff let him down, which is a pity since the bakery is so wonderful.

This is definitely the best breakfast place in Hermanus! Incredible Deluxe coffee, very kind ladies in the FOH, and delicious food. Oskars still operates during loadshedding. Would highly recommend coming here!
