We found this place by chance after arriving late in town for a weekend away. We felt a little rushed to finish our supper, however, this may be as a result of only arriving around 8pm.
The menu was very simple but delicious, with some very unique items to choose from, especially the dessert! Very cozy setting with some good ambiance. Waiters and staff were all very welcoming and efficient. Definitely recommendable.

Value for money.
Tasty food.
Friendly service.

I would have liked a bigger portion but the food is not overly expensive so I would say it was fair.

Honestly the best restaurant in the western cape. We wait for months to go back to Hermanus so that we can come here. The nachos and burgers are the best we’ve had. The poke bowls are incredible and come in very big portions. We’ve always had the most friendly staff. Cannot recommend it enough!

I live in a big city, so I'm used to water view restaurants not having good food. This place had everything. Great food, very friendly service, and lovely outdoor seating. What a gem.

Wow, what an incredible experience. We were 7 ladies with differet tastes. We all ordered the maple bacon burger... we are all OBSESSED!! We all agreed it was the best burger we have ever had. This small hidden away place, is the diamond in the rough place... excellent service and loved the ambiance. I will be driving out there just to share the best burger with my husband once he is home !

Pear Tree has a wide range of meals that you wouldn’t find anywhere else in Hermanus. From delicious Ramen to Quirky combinations like a Steak Eggs Benedict paired with amazing Mimosa’s. They’re also right on the waterfront so the views are nothing short of soectacular

What amazing place ! The Steaks and Mac an Chesse dish was Porto.I had a after dinner drink thay was to die for. Soo much I bought the last bottle.
