Great place to get information on the area in which it is situated. Especially for students who are doing assignments on historical areas in Johannesburg. Fietas being a place with a lot of apartheid regime as well as post apartheid history, one could get a lot of helpful information regarding the history of not only vrededorp but of surrounding areas, as well as Johannesburg CBD.

Intriguing history of Fietas. Museum mostly closed. Make arrangements before visiting to avoid disappointment.
