Speedy and friendly service and awesome food. For starters we had the croquettes which came very quickly. For mains we had the soft shell crab tacos, beef hard shell taco and the enchilada. All the mains were awesome, came fast and hot. For dessert we had the Mexican flan. Highly recommend a tequila as a palate cleanser between each course, really enhances the flavour of the food. Lovely atmosphere and service, will definitely return.

Wonderful vibe and decor. The staff are great and enthusiastic which adds to the atmosphere. I would give it 4.5 stars but that option doesn't exist. We ordered the a starter which was okay and quite highly priced. We also ordered the Wet Tony's Cali Burrito. Great portion size, presentation and quite tasty. We also had the hard and soft tacos and whilst they were tasty, they lacked that great flavour that you can get in Mexican food. The tequila options and flavours are amazingly good. They taste like what the menu says it is. Cocktails are also well made and tasty. Will go back to try other menu options.

First time visiting here and it was awesome! The vibe is cool, the staff are friendly and the cocktails/mocktails and food is great!
The tortilla chips and guacamole offered while we decide what to eat is nice but just know it costs R70. It nice to share with the table with your drinks.
Overall we had a great time and will definitely visit again to try more items on the menu!

From the moment you walk in there's a beautiful vibe in the atmosphere. The wall art, the setup even the bathrooms are gorgeous. Then there's the food. The nachos to share was such a huge portion that 4 of us ate to our fill. We couldn't even order mains. The drinks were delicious too. We ordered one wet burrito for takeaway and shared it amongst 2 of us. Really good portions and the prices were great too. The staff were also quite friendly, I really enjoyed it. A good way to spend my first wedding anniversary. Thank you La Rosa.

So this place makes better Mexican food than Mexico itself - the vibe is just like the restaurants in Riviera Maya in Mexico, with a South African twist - ideal for homely globe trotters like us. Their burritos are amazingly tasty and we never get tired of any of their foods on the menu. It is a child friendly place, although the menu could do with some kids meals. The service is amazing and we don't mind coming here each time we visit Monte.

I enjoyed the place
The menu is a bit overwhelming but there is a variety to choose from, which is good.
The prices, for me, are a bit above average.
The food is ok, well we only had burritos, which were recommended by the staff
The staff is friendly.
The ambiance is ok.
I like the aesthetic

Great Mexican Vibe and experience. The decor is very authentic and makes for great photo opportunities. We went on a Wednesday and had the 1kg Wings With Free Draft Special. Was pretty good aswell as their nachos and Mexican Salad .Yum ???? Will definitely be back to try some other tantalising dishes.
