Our son was born here.

Plenty parking at very reasonable pricing.

Reception seems quite disorganised and she let us wait 20 minutes as she simple forgot us, which is the only negative thing I experienced here.

Maternity ward team very friendly, caring and rooms are clean and comfortable as well.
Chipo our main Nurse was very caring (as all her colleagues as well) and she really took her time to make the labour a bit more bearable for my wife.
Overall a very positive experience.

I had the most wonderful experience here (even though I arrived with a broken ankle). The staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating at all times. I always felt like I was a priority - no matter how many times I needed help to get to the toilet. My orthopedic surgeon - Dr. Nick Batoulis was fantastic. He explained everything so well, so that I could understand exactly what was happening and what I could expect. The food was really delicious for hospital food, although the servings were quite small. When I told the nurses that I was still hungry, they quickly organized me another meal, no questions asked. My room was great with an outside door facing an indigenous field with Guinea fowl running around. I was happy lie in my bed and look outside which felt as if some buck would be walking past at any minute. Thank you Fourways Life for the wonderful experience.

Absolutely amazed at the staff, doctors, I’ve been to a number of hospitals and this one by far outshines the rest. The nurses are very friendly and accommodating, happy to help and it is making my pre operative experience that much better. I’m absolutely blown away . Thank you Fourways Life!

I came with a terrible headache on Wednesday afternoon around 2:30pm, I explained to the nurses(later the doctor) that I’ve been experiencing these symptoms for about a month now. After an hour and a half for us to be called and another 30-45 minutes for a doctor to come in and see me. I wasn’t sent in for any tests besides a covid test and the doctor told me I had tonsillitis ( but I didn’t have severe throat pain), I then asked him if I was going for any tests and he said no and then he was sending me home with pain medication for my headache ( he also gave me an injection and the the nurse who came to do the injection was very neglectful)My mom then came in and requested they do a scan because as mentioned I’ve been suffering for a month (even longer), the doctor seemed reluctant to do it but sent for one anyway, at that point I was fed up and decided to go home or to another hospital. I was not impressed, another nurse herself was very skeptical at how the doctor could diagnose me with an infection without having sent me for tests. On top of that I walked out to go to my car and I found scratches on my car and security then told me that where I was parked wasn’t covered by the security cameras. I had a terrible experience and I will not be returning there anytime soon.

Besides having a very friendly and helpful receptionist so early in the morning, I Really didn’t have such a great time thereafter. Nurses in surgical ward 2 are quite cold and closed off.. I was making jokes with them (because let’s be honest, being in hospital is not always fun) and didn’t even crack a smile.. After my procedure I had some lunch and was told I could sign discharge papers and drive myself home (after anesthetic?!?!). I asked for a script for pain killers they said there isn’t one.. so I walked back to the entrance very slowly as I was in pain and still dizzy.. a nurse ran after me and said “oh we were supposed to give you this” - my script ???????? went to the pharmacy and a nurse mentioned that I should not drive home after my procedure. I didn’t feel welcomed and the staff are just kind of “bleh”.. maybe some encouragement for staff to be more friendly.. one thing I can say is the staff and the food at the Dulce cafe are both good ????

I was admitted on the 13th of September in the AMs in Surgical 2 as i had severe back pain. The nurses in Surgical 2 were super kind. Later that day I had a seizure due to a reaction from a drip. After I was revived, I had a nurse sitting with me in the ward until the doctor arrived just to make sure that should I encounter another seizure, I would receive assistance immediately. I would highly recommend to others to go to Life Fourways because the care and tender treatment from the nurses in that hospital is top notch. Keep it up with the excellent services.

I have always thought fourways life to be one of the best hospitals. However today I was disappointed with them. My husband was.waiting to be seen by a doctor he was there at 15.45 by 17.30 he still had not been seen and only two other patients had gone through. This however is not the issue. In the waiting area which is now open to everyone entering the hospital an elderly gentleman was really sick, the staff had given him a container to vomit in which he used. How as a private hospital do you let this happen. The poor man was vomiting and not one of the staff thought to move him to a private place. The irony of it all is only patients are allowed I the emergambcy ward because of covid but outside in the entrance it does not matter. How as a private hospital where you charge the rates you do is service at this level acceptable you should be ashamed
