I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone in Fourways who isn't a fan of good value Italian fare in a family style restaurant, and that special something, Lanouva has in spades. A loyal and happy patronage keeps a place alive and this restaurant has that too. Whether you're booking for a celebration or just want to enjoy a cup of coffee while you work, the ambience lends itself to both. Generously portioned food is the order of every day here and you will definitely come back for your favourites off the menu. Service is unobtrusive and friendly, come often enough and there will be an almost wordless exchange as all your needs are cared for. And in this time and place of constant changes, its wonderful to know that Lanouva will always be there. I sincerely hope it stays that way.

We've been here several times. Food is always great. Service is very good. Atmosphere is relaxed. We were happy to host a combined family birthdays lunch at this venue.

The food quality is subpar. I ordered the chicken curry using MrD and it tasted old. White rice was almost brown in color. Very disappointing

A bit of a disappointment - old lettuce in my salad. Their response "this should not happen and they implemented measures so that it does not happen again" shouldn't these measures be in place the day you opened the restaurant and enforced on a daily basis. The slap in the face came when I was expected to pay full price for this mess. You've just lost a customer.
