McDonald's Ormonde Drive-Thru

I have been forced to leave without food nor my money back Mc Donald’s Ormonde while travelling with kids. We drove through placed the order yes it was a big order and we were asked to park on the side and complied with an understanding that our order was big. We received drinks and two happy meals. The drinks had no ice on blazing hot day and we went in to request for ice and told to purchase it. Waited to a point where I ended up requesting for a refund which I did not get and it was also difficult to get my receipt back.

The restaurant was particularly busy as it was just after prayer time at the local mosque however the staff were efficient and accurate. Good job Guys!

The location is convenient just off the M1 and also great for a quick stop after Gold Reef City.

All McDonald's are pretty consistent. The only thing is the staffs attitudes that vary. This particular branch irritated me abit. I was at the front counter redeeming from the app. I wanted to add an item to my order and they refused. They said I had to stand in the q and do it at the self service station instead of just taking my order. Ridiculous.

Very average. It's good enough if you need to be filled till the next time you eat. Staff is friendly but you don't visit a Fast food outlet to make friends, the food needs to be decent .

Very disappointed at the staffs attitude. A lady by the name of Thabi was in the drive thru teller at 09:35 on 22/09/2022

Doesnt want to give a special instruction to the kitchen for me. Says I must do it myself. Very arrogant. Definitely needs training in customer service.

I liked the service. It was quick even though it was the end of the month. The food was nicely packed and it was fresh from the stove

It was a fast service , we did not spend a long time and our food was ready . It was my nephews first time eating a big mac and she enjoyed it .
