What a classy little spot! Cocktails on point - Negroni done right, with a beautiful block of clear ice, with perfect balance! The best in Gauteng so far by far! Service was good and attentive, vibe was cool and location great. Will certainly be back for more. Well done team!

Excellent cocktails but totally underwhelming and overpriced when it comes to food. Ordered 5 small plates to share and most failed to make an impression. The pork belly was off, short ribs were dry, aubergine was undercooked, dry octopus served in a poor combination with hash browns. Only the lamb rolls were good. Ordered a glass of wine and there was sediment in it. Friendly service (we were not charged for the pork belly and the glass of wine).

Mix Bar is the hidden gem within a members only club. Wait out the afternoon traffic, take in the spectacular view of lush urban forest of north east Johannesburg while enjoying a cocktail over cool beats.
If you get peckish I'd recommend the Sirloin special if they have it otherwise the chicken tenders - both cooked to perfection u0026 delicious. But the real perk of visiting Mix is the service, which is members only standard. Highly trained waiters, attentive without being overbearing who offer good recommendations based on your mood and palate. Also look out for their specials, as a gin lover I appreciated the double Monkey 47 u0026 tonic at +/- R90 (Jan 2019).

A beautifully designed space. We visited for brunch - I’d seen a menu online and the prices seemed very reasonable. So, the prices are reasonable however the portion sizes are quite small. I would rather have paid a bit more for a slightly bigger portion.
If you’re looking for a boozy brunch, they have a vast Bloody Mary station ????

That said, the food was delicious. Service, excellent. Space, inspiring. Art u0026 decor, awesome. View, stunning (especially in Jacaranda season). And I’d definitely return again for cocktails when the bar has an evening vibe and sunset view ???? +????????u003d????????

The floors are very slippery, do not wear heels when you visit this place. Otherwise great place even though it was a farewell party. Not sure what it's like on a regular day.

Kopano Jazz band Wed nights, amazing, cozy, luxury venue, excellent service, delicious food. Divine experience everytime.
