Hate this place. A total waste of my money and time. Had to wait outside in the dark for 15minutes for someone to open for me when I arrived. No one was there to welcome me and show me to my room. There's no hot water to shower no TV no heater no kettle. I had to make my morning coffee using a microwave lucky enough I had my travel mug and coffee with me. No towels provided and no extra blankets given. I was so cold during the night not even one of the staff came to see how my stay was until I had to check out and the lady was very rude when I started complaining. I will never set my foot there again. NEVER!!!!

I was very disappointed. Cancelled upon arrival. The pictures on site and what we got , do not look like same place.

We canceled the booking because when we got there the place was dirty. The receptionist struggled to open the room doors. Shared bathroom, kitchen etc. Can't deal

The receptionist wanted to put us in a small room whereas I booked a place for 5 people

There's renovations happening and our cars were not safe, hole in the front side wall

This was really disappointing ????
I would never recommend anyone stay there even if it was free mxm

For a last minute find, this place was definitely an interesting surprise... ???? Because we had arrived late at night, I hadn't realised how beautiful the place was until the next morning.

I appreciated its charm and various pieces of art all over the establishment. It speaks perfectly to its location in Rosebank near the Keyes Art Mile.

It is a bit of a fixer-upper with regards to the rooms, shared bathroom and kitchen spaces, however with a little TLC the guest house can definitely turn around! The pricing is affordable and it attracts a number of people to the establishment. However, just a few tweakings need to be made and it'll get back in shape in no time!

The property is damaged and needs alot of renovation. I was here for a church conference for 3 days. The bedding had stains and when we asked for blankets we where asked to pop out extra money for those. We even had to pay to use the iron. There was just alot going on honestly.

Good day

I write to inform you about my unpleasant experience at your guest house as I have a strong belief that some of the problems can be fixed. I am from Cape Town and I went Johannesburg to register for my masters degree at Wits University on Monday the 14th of March. I thought the process would take only one day but it ended up stretching to the next day so I decided to book for a night stay at your guest house. Before I arrived I called and I was told that there was a room at the guest house which was costs R500 per night and I reserved it.

I booked my Uber from Wits and I arrived around 20: 00hrs. I called the lady to inform that I was outside and it took me 20 minutes to enter the premise( apparently the gate remote was not working). When I finally entered I was told that the room is R650 instead of 550 which I was told on the phone. I decided to take the room since it was already late. I didn't had any cash with me so I decided to use my bank card and I was told to either walk to the garage or request Uber to withdraw cash because the credit card machines were not working. The lady told me it was a 7 mins walk and she didn't seem to be bothered at all.

I ended up requesting for an Uber which costed me almost R70 to and from and that was my lunch money for the next day. When I got back the Uber driver just dropped me outside and left because he had gotten another trip. I called the lady to tell her that I was outside and I had to wait for almost 30 mins before she opened( this time it wasn't a remote problem but noone was just coming to the gate at all. Finally I entered and paid and the lady just showed me my room and said she was going to come back. 30 minutes later I called asking for glasses to pour my cool drink and she said she was coming. Around 23:30 I had a knock and I opened only to be given a dirty glass , my receipt and a dirty towel.

- No towels in the room
- No television
- No charging ports
- 2 single beds joined to make one
- No soap or small lotion
- No one offered the wifi password

The next morning again it took me 20 minutes to exit the property

The place is beautiful and if properly managed it can generate a significant income

I had the waste experience ever and I don't think you would want the public to know what I went through!
