I've been a resident of Braamfontein for a while now,I've seen the transition of this area.Back in the days this area used to be clean and presentable and no one was allowed to sit around this statue. Lately,it gets messy.Youngsters chill around here all day and drink in public then leave empty bottles lying all over the place. It's not safe to walk around here in sandals because of broken glasses all over this area.Thanks to the Pikitup team that comes to clean up in the mornings.
