the most disappointing R39- spent on half portion calamari. Hardly enough to snack on.

Been patronising this store for almost 3 years. Food is always well prepared and delicious. But tonight the batter on the hake was ultra salty. Had to remove the batter and eat the fish only. Disappointed.

I just bought small chips and Russian special@Broadacres Fish n Chips for the day..tried calling but phone not answered What a dissapointment the chips are Raw!!!I always ask for crispy chips but this is RAW!! I slept hungry..went to the shop on the 17/06/2017 and returned the raw chips i bought last night.Politely told the guy that made the chips for me that they were raw,the guy kept quite and opened a till and left a R20 next to my hand saying nothing, No appology but a stinky attitude.I left the R20 there because i was dissapointed in the way he received my complaint. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN BAD SERVICE WILL DESTROY YOUR REPUTATION, MY COMPLAINT WAS FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES AND NOT ARGUE WITH WEAK POINTS.I spent lots on kms driving to buy dinner and transporting your raw dinner back in the morning.I was not asking for the money but I felt that I needed to return ur chips for u to learn not start WAR!
The staff said there's no manager/ supervisor to guide them.

THE VILLAGE CHIPS. You need to try this out for the family. Love the chips from this spot. The calamari is also a plus. Just like any other fish u0026 chips place, you can't forget the THE FISH.

The fish and onion rings were burnt and the lady at the counter rude and disinterested.

So much so that she made a comment [in vernacular] about how everything simply annoyed her.

I expect food poisoning [will be pleasantly surprised if i dont fall ill] and will never bother myself with this franchise's food.

Could have never even made it through half of what was bought.

The chips were soggy and the fish lacked flavour...tasted like a wet cardboard even though my companions said it could just be for that day as they have great food in the past.

I will buy the chips but not the fish ,they selling smaller fish with the same prices.not impressed .I'm off to fish aways better value.
