This is a great place where students hang out. You will find most of the food you want. All the major banks ATMs that you want you'll find them. This place is a mixture of student life and a good environment to eat. The only downside here is that it's very noisy and busy around 12 - 2pm. So my advice is you go through this area after or before those hours where people are less crowded. Afterall no one likes to wait inline while ordering food.

This is a complex with various fast-food restaurants, atms, printing, textbook and stationery stores, health care center, optometrist and dentist. For the restuarants, there is no sit ins, yet inside the matrix is a cafeteria where you can feast on what you bought from any of the the fast food outlets. There are bank branches and their respective atms, which is, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Capitec, FNB and ABSA. There are electronic stores for earphones, speakers, household gadgets. Also found inside is a dentist, optometrist and a health - care center. Stationary and different kinds of books are sold here too.

As long as you do not mind long lines, lots of people, weird smells and a very dimly lit shopping zone, the Matrix has many shops and banks that have been proven very helpful to students but if you are not used to areas like this it can be overwhelming and confusing. The food shops are decently priced for student meals, the quality ranges from shop to shop and dish but no-one I know has any food poisoning yet. Not many places to sit comfortably inside as it is very hot and none of the seats have any backrests but it has space to sit to eat your meals.

Food palace for campus staff and students. A place to get a taste of your craving when you are around wits. Mostly snacks and take aways. Chilling area available... But no restaurant setup. Fast foods dominate at a fair and reasonable price.
