Truly amazing experience doing the historical dinner on Friday night. A once in a lifetime culinary journey through Joburg’s history set in one of the most interesting places in town. They team here are amazing. I was truly astounded by the knowledge u0026 food. Well done team.. its a must do while in the city..

This restaurant is AMAZING! I cannot tell you enough to come eat hear, chat with Princess (the vibrant chef) and even join them for one of their special Friday night dinners (they have a secret underground dinner AND an immigrant history dinner!) This new restaurant is vegan friendly and vegetarian friendly too! The food is made with A LOT of love. Plus their gin cocktails are delightful! You’d be missing out if you didn’t come here during your stay in Joburg!

A new venue operated by Joburg Places. Currently part of a tour and mystery dinners.
The space is fascinating and the phenomanel Gerald makes it all the more worthwhile. Not licenced yet so drinks are held at another venue.
If you are in Joburg this should be on your list of must do activities.

We had a great walk, loved every minute of it. Charlie Moyo was our guide, what a nice guy. Im allready planning for another walk with them.

We had an amazing experience with a small group of friends. Charlie was hosting an insightful story telling session regarding migrants in Johannesburg, this was followed by a delicious cuisine representing the specific community. Anyone looking to travel through story telling and food, I would highly recommend it. This is also good for locals????

Unbelievable venue situated in the old Building Society bank. Downstairs there are the original bank vaults and safety deposit boxes. It's like being transported back in time. The food is delicious - a mix of cuisine mirroring Johannesburg migrant culture.

Won’t be the last time for me stopping by. So much history in a few walls. Feels amazing - so do their Gu0026Ts.
