Enter the Thunderwalkers-secret underground Gin pairing evening was a funky, interesting, lekker night out. The overall vibe was relaxed and fun:highlights and lows included-service, staff and attention to detail was great. Very welcoming, great tasting food but was let down slightly by arriving cold. Gin bar was awesome, however not the biggest selection and the bar itself was limited, as well as only having 1 barkeep.the venue, while meant to be kept original, need some proper touch ups. Stairs were dangerous and the parking was tight. The area was dodgy, but felt safe and guided talk was factual and interesting. Would definitely recommend, but ideal with a big group. Also have to try the Tiramisu by Princess-with fresh sweet mint-very tasty.

Enjoyed the experience. Food was interesting. Service from guards excellent. Was nice to dine in the centre of Johannesburg

We had an amazing experience at the Thunderwalker Restaurant. Visited on a midweek evening for my husbands birthday. Car was well looked after, very unique setting, the most friendly staff and exquisite food. Cant wait to visit again! A definite must if you want to experience Joburg at its best
