Went here for a 10 year anniversary fine dining experience. Ordered the vegetarian 5 course tasting menu which was bursting with flavor in each course. Many theatrics made the special night, an unforgettable one. The palate cleansers were also absolutely delicious. Great service and altogether a perfect fine dining experience. Special instructions were followed with great care as the kitchen and staff offered a complementary dessert on top of the menu requested. Worth every cent.

Excellent 6 or 8 course menus with wonderful south african wine paring. The food is a piece of art. There is plenty of staff making you feel comfortable. The best if obviously the view over Johannesburg. Come before sunset to fully enjoy the scenery.

Excellent view of Joburg hence the name. We were a party of 3 but were given a table for 6 when we got there and subsequently asked to be moved twice. Service was alright, could have been better. I thought the selection would be more extensive on the buffet side. Ended up having oysters, a shot of ginger and orange juice with my hot mains of poached eggs, salmon and broccoli. I got ill from eating the salmon afterwards unfortunately but my other two friends were fine with their choices. Afterwards it took quite a while for the golf cart to fetch us from the top. For a hotel of this class, would have expected better overall.

This is the ultimate fine dining experience. Excellent food, compliments to the chef! Great service, well trained servers. Definitely worth the experience!

The service was great and we were a very large table.

The setting, views and decor as a whole is very beautiful which is for me where the amazement ended.

Food presentation was second to none and the set menu broad enough to cater for everyone’s needs.

For me though I was expecting some of the best tasting food I’ve had and not much in fact anything impressed. A table of 10+ all felt much the same which was a real shame.

Amazing view as can be expected. I was hesitant as the restaurant only serve a fix menu but was pleasantly surprised. On the pricy side but well worth the view!
