1st time visiting the water park and I can honestly say we had an amazing day and will definitely come back again. You can take your own food, drinks and snacks just no glass or alcohol. Entrance is R130 and kids until 1.2 meters R100, kids under 2 are free. The food, cooldrinks, snacks, ice cream etc are reasonably priced but it does add up so I suggest take your own coolerbox of items. There are lots of picnic tables and shady areas. The reason for only 4 stars ???? The life guards have no interest in your children's safety or ensuring that the other people behave, there are zero rules pertaining to what you can and cannot do on the slides and I suggest you keep a close eye on your kids at all times because I saw alot of children getting hurt. Although the slides are in good condition the wooden staircases up to the slides need to be assessed and possibly repaired, we literally heard the wood cracking as we were climbing the stairs it was concerning as it is very very high. The lazy river is totally pointless because the tubes are too big and the kids spent the entire time trying to rock the tube down the ride and lastly there were not enough tubes I would say maybe 30 were available. All in all it is a lovely fun affordable place to take the kids.
