The place is so incredible, in a quiet cozy area. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. Keep up the good work you have done in this place .my kids enjoyed their room they just wana come back already. Thanks and thanks again. We shall definitely come back .

The Owner of Mariu Guest house always welcomes you upon arrival. He helps you offload your luggage and shows you to your room. The rooms are comfortable, cozy and very neat. It is always super clean and towels are swopped with clean ones everyday. Every morning the Owner will greet you and sincerely find out if everything is well in the room and if you had a good night's rest. I have genuinely enjoyed all my stays at Mariu Guest House and will 100% recommend it to anyone. The Owner bends over backward to accommodate your time table and make you feel welcome, settled and comfortable.

Such a lovely vibe, very clean, lovely hot shower if you love to "marinate" yourself with hot water like me. I slept flat out(perhaps l should buy that bed from them).
Then the breakfast... it hugged my tummy from within.

Brilliant facilities situated in tropical surroundings. The stay is always comforting and one can feel at home. The owner and his family are very welcoming and we always have good conversations. Breakfast that is served is always delicious.

We stayed for 4 nights for the first time at this guest house. The owner assisted us with our trailer as we are in Nelspruit for an event. The guest house is situated in a good area. Why 2 stars? The room was not spacious enough. Bathroom has only limited basics with an open shower which causes the floor to be soaking wet each morning. I could hardly do any work in the evenings as the chair in the room is old and super uncomfortable. There was noice (loud music) for 2 nights coming from some of the neighbours. Limited tv channels (4 stars) The bed was not the kind of bed we are used to. (quality) And then... Parking is somewhat of a head ache. Too many vechiles for too little space. I would like to suggest that the owner tone down the inter action with guests as I am an extreme private person and not always in a mood to make small talk or answer questions on why, what and who. We travel a lot. 80 percent of the time and stay all over South Africa.

It's not very often these days to have a welcoming experience when one endures into a new and calming environment especially with having longed stay at a place which made me feel at home as well as the owner's going the extra mile to assist with my accommodation. The service was always on point, like walking into a new room each day. Coming home from work, knowing there's always someone to chat with to ease of the loneliness especially after a long days work differentiates the experience a little more from the rest. Breakfast was always an exciting morning knowing it's delivered by the owner himself which also adds a positive value to his business, definitely a 10/10 for me. Many blessings upon his family and the business, I know for sure that i'm always welcome in his home.

It was a pity that we've booked it for only one night. Definitely we will go back there for our next South-African journey. We booked it for a stay in between the airport of Joburg and Kruger Park. One thing, it was an amazing stay. Bed, shower, area, breakfast and especially the hospitality of the very friendly owner was really great. Thanks for all service and your enthusiasm about the area!
